Garlic Ginger Maple Marinade!

Being a college student there are times when the budget is tight. However, one should never have to sacrifice a great flavorful dinner to stay on budget! I found the perfect marinade that only has four ingredients and is incredibly cheap to make! This Garlic, Ginger maple marinade goes great with any protein and is sure to impress any guest that you have over!

Garlic Ginger Maple Marinade

1-2 inches of fresh ginger root (varies on how gingery you want your marinade)

¼ cup maple syrup (or any pancake syrup)

¼ cup soy sauce

2 teaspoons of minced garlic

Cooking tools:

Food Processor (Or blender)

Pan (to cook down marinade)

Veggie Peeler

  1. First peel the ginger skin away then slice the ginger in to smaller pieces.
  2. Then throw the cut ginger into the food processor as well as the rest of the ingredients.
  3. Pulse until the ginger is completely broken down and incorporated in the marinade.

Now you can store the marinade for a couple days or use it right away! I recommend marinating any meat for at least one hour, but the longer you marinade your protein of choice the better the result!

So far I have tried this marinade with Pork Loin, Chicken Breasts, and Steak and it all turned out beautiful! Leave a comment if you have tried it and let me know what you think!!
