Winter Morning Cinnamon French Toast

There is nothing better than a delicious weekend breakfast/brunch. I recently made some delicious Homemade Cinnamon Spice Bread and couldn’t wait to use it to make some homemade cinnamon French toast! This recipe is so quick and easy!! If you use homemade bread it takes it to a whole new level but if you don’t have the time have no fear! Store bought bread can be delicious as well! Finish with a dollop of my homemade cinnamon vanilla whipped cream and you are ready for your weekend brunch!

1 tablespoon butter

Cinnamon Vanilla Whipped Cream

½ cup heavy whipping cream

1 teaspoon cinnamon

¼ teaspoon vanilla

2 teaspoons sugar

Pie tin

Nonstick skillet

French Toast

  1. Crack eggs into pie tin, whisk in milk, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt until fully mixed.
  2. Heat up skillet with butter or oil to medium heat
  3. Dip bread in to the egg mixture making sure to give it time to soak up mixture on both sides before placing it into your hot pan.
  4. Let cook on side until lightly browned, once cooked flip to cook the other side.
  5. Remove and keep cooking until you have made your desired amount!

Cinnamon Vanilla Whipped Cream

  1. Combine ingredients and mix until the mixture makes stiff peaks! Be careful not to over mix or you may end up with butter! (or at least one of the initial stages of butter)

Combine the two and enjoy! This goes great with my Quick Homemade Hot Cocoa too!
